At Lea Haven Farm, we specialize in a hybrid board model. We believe that horses are best living outside in large spaces with friends whenever possible, but also understand that the demands we put on our riding partners means they need extra care beyond hay, water and shelter.

Our boarding program is designed to offer the same level of care a horse would receive on indoor board, but with the scientifically proven benefits of living outside.

Our hybrid board includes:

• Large, safe turnout with access to water, shelter and 24/7 forage (either hay or pasture grass) year-round.

• Individualized, high-quality feed program. All horses are brought into their own stall twice daily to be fed and checked over. Supplements fed if provided by owner, grain is included in board.

• All blanketing and fly-masks put on and taken off as needed

• Minor first aid treatment as needed, as agreed to with owner

• Holding for farm-scheduled, routine vet and farrier appointments

• Cross-ties and stalls available for use for grooming, tacking, and spending time with horses
